DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include but be unlimited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.
- Show ability to provide housekeeping service in vacant and occupied rooms.
- Ability to do housekeeping morning and turndown service.
- Adhere and practice housekeeping procedures/ SOPs during room cleaning.
- General cleaning of the room:
- Replace all dirty/ stained/ damaged linens with unstained/ undamaged & cleaned linens.
- Remove all trash and traces of personal belongings of guest after departure from room.
- General cleaning of room/ bathroom & terrace as per the hotel SOP.
- Replace all bathroom and room amenities.
- Fulfill additional guests’ requests (extra bed, extra amenities or loaned items).
- Provide customer service as per the standards of the Constance group.
- Deal with all guests’ queries and complaints swiftly and efficiently.
- Check all electrical appliances (lamps, hair dryers, telephone, mini-bar, TV, air-con, safe etc…).
- Check all other technical aspects such as door lock, black out, shower, hot-cold water, wc flush, blinds, lights, TV etc…
- Manage stock of pantry and trolley.
- Good usage of cleaning tools and equipment like vacuum cleaner, monobrosse, jet pressure machine and ensure good maintenance of these equipment.
- Report anything or anyone suspicious or any anomalies to the Housekeeping Coordinator immediately.
- Respect and follow the Key card procedure (i.e. signing in and out for key cards, returning all keys after work, swiping in & out while accessing room).
- Ensure Lost and Found procedure are followed and respected.
- Adhere to sanitary protocols and health & safety measures put in place by the management.
- Perform any other duties as required by Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- NC 3 in Housekeeping or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury hotels in similar positions
- Be a passionate, talented, creative and possess a dynamic personality and be highly motivated
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Extreme attention to details
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of guest service
