We are currently looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.

 

The Job

We are looking to hire a Junior Data Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for organising data originating from all across the various systems within the company. Use technical expertise to ensure data is accurate and of high-quality. And interpret, analyse, design and present data in a way that assists management to make better decisions. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insights and insight into business decisions.

 

Job Requirements


  • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Developing and maintaining database, data systems and reorganizing data.
  • Performing analysis to assess accuracy, quality and meaning of data.
  • Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct data problems.
  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
  • Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
  • Preparing Menu engineering matrices and analysis
  • Preparing and analysing cost control analysis reports
  • Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Preparing final analysis reports to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends. 
  • Work with management to prioritise business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

 

Skills required


  • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to analyse existing tools and provide recommendations
  • Strong skills to help collect and clean data. As well as to measure, organize and analyse data
  • A very fine eye for detail is a must.
  • Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
  • Team-working skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good interpersonal skills and problem solving
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
