We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to enhance our team at db Seabank Resort & Spa.


About the Job

In this role, your responsibilities extend beyond day-to-day tasks. You will ensure the seamless operation of contracted works, adjusting priorities and schedules as needed. Your role involves instructing the optimal approaches for various tasks, reporting progress to relevant Heads of Departments (HODs), and collaborating with management on cross-departmental matters. You will also manage the planning of in-house and contracted activities, which includes signing purchase orders and invoices, as well as reviewing quotes for materials and outsourced work.


Requirements

To ensure the smooth operation of our contracted works.

To adjust works as per priorities done schedules and instruct the best ways to do work.

To report the progress of works and correspond with other HOD’s and management on works related to other departments or areas that may impact operation.

To plan for in-house and out-contracted works for timeline and executions.

To sign purchase orders and invoices for material requested.

To check the material and out contracted works’ quotes for best prices.

To assist in running an efficient maintenance operation that can fulfil operational demands and meet set targets

To understand and work in accordance with the company’s quality requirements

To perform scheduled planned preventive maintenance in accordance to minimised unplanned downtime

To understand and work in accordance with mandatory requirements of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements

To lead the development of innovative solutions to unique problems.

To abide by the Policies and Procedures of the Company.

To conduct performance reviews of the staff.

To plan for corrective maintenance to be done within necessary timelines for smooth operation

To ensure targets set by the Hotel general manager and His assistant as well Group engineering manager are met.

To report on Team performance and guide where needed on achievement of day-to-day goals as well as long-term ones

To ensure that all staff adhere to Company rules and regulations.

To ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout.
