Four Seasons Hotel Osaka (Pre-opening) is looking for a Buyer who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do.

The Buyer is an essential member of our Purchasing team. The applicant must be motivated, detail orientated, and interested in the Purchasing aspect of our property. 

• Maintain and research pricing for purchased goods 
• Accurately maintain records and purchasing orders for accounting 
• Work with the Chefs to ensure the highest quality of product is ordered and received 
• Ensure that all goods required to run the Food & Beverage Department are available when necessary 
• Assist with monthly inventory for the Hotel 
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 
• Excellent organizational skills 
• Knowledge and Microsoft Office systems, including Word and Excel 
• Previous experience in Purchasing and Food & Beverage
• Perform all other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

-Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities.

-Applicants are highly recommended to have previous purchasing experience in a hospitality industry.

-Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in Japan.

-Must be fluent in both Japanese and English. Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in both Japanese and English.
