The Director of Purchasing manages and coordinates the operations of the purchasing department ensuring all departments have adequate supplies.

The Director of Purchasing coordinates and manages the overall operations of the Purchasing, Receiving and Storeroom Departments to ensure that all departments of the hotel have adequate supplies to perform their duties in an efficient manner. The Assistant Director of Purchasing keeps abreast of new and alternative products in the market and consults with hotel management on products to enhance cost effectiveness and quality standards.
