Marine Biologist (Thai Nationality ONLY)

Job Summary:

The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is looking for a Marine Biologist who shares a passion for excellence, conveys a positive attitude and epitomizes honesty and integrity. 

The Marine Biologist will monitor and record coral life growing as required by government maintaining requested documentation. Be active participant in local activities related to marine life. Monitor maintenance of all beach equipment that include snorkeling equipment, kayak, paddleboards etc. Overlook at the safety rules of the beach and water sport activities. In charge of the maintenance of the dinghy/boat making sure that technical booklet is checked daily in order to guarantee the safety of the guests. Control boat logbook and checklist each time the boat and dinghy will be used keeping management informed if any discrepancy. Assist in guests activities and excursions; creates highly personalized guest experience. Make sure guests follow safety requirement when using water equipment and liability formed each time the guest use the equipment

The position reports to a F&B Operations & Sustainability Manager and is open for Thai Nationality only.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Thai national only
• Proficient in English communication
• Diploma or certificate specialized in marine life activities
• High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
• Pleasant interpersonal skills
