Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

Purpose

To maintain and run an efficient and professionally organized office, leading a shift (morning, afternoon, late and overnight).

  • Job Responsibilities


General

Departmental

Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Security/Assistant Security Manager during the shift. Proper handing over and taking over of all items and works in the register prior each shift change. Carry out shift briefing and ensure that the guards are fair posting, allocation and supervision of duties of Guards. Up keeping of books, files, keys, duplicate keys, master keys and items at the Security Office during their shift. Lost and found items to be logged and handle as per procedures. Ensure that team members are well groom, fit and sober for duty. Carry out CPR patrol and Villa check as per P&P. Provide First Aid to guest and employees as when required. Conduct driving tests for employees as per procedures. Carry out roving patrols throughout the Resort to check for abnormalities, Dog Handlers and security guards are present and on alert. Details of duty SHOULD be checked on daily basis. In case any inconveniences, Assistant Manager or Director should be made aware on the same day. Constant follow up of incoming mails and to take appropriate actions. Update Glitch concerning Security on a timely manner. Action incident report form without delay and hand over to Assistant Security Manager or Director of Security. Fill Injury Report Form (as and when required without delay and hand over same to Health and Safety Officer).      Should ensure that no foods and drinks are taking at the Security Desk. Keep Security Office clean and neat at all time Ensure that persons calling at the Security Office are received courteously and their requests attended to, promptly and diligently. CCTV should be switched on at all time and same to be monitored. Functional checks to be carried out CCTV camera daily. Any issue related to Engineering / IT/ Gardeners, mail should be sent to respective departments and same be mentioned on daily report. Record all messages in message book and appropriate action to be taken at the earliest convenience with the instructions of  Assistant Manager and DOS Ensure visitors, contractors and interviewees are registered and badges are issued accordingly. Ensure that outsourced contractors to Engineering to sign their attendance prior issuing the pass respectively. Attend guest and employees requests with diligence and tact in a timely manner. Report all unusual and important occurrences to the Director of security and Assistant Security Manager. Responsible to Follow Up glitches, Incident report etc... MUST ensure that the guard working in the office in overnight duty SHOULD check all Ving cards and keys inventory physically. Organise and assist vehicle check on regular basis at Main gate. Report all anomalies to Director or Assistant Manager Assist team members in securing villas as per P&P. Door Lock and safe laptop to fully charged on daily basis(overnight shift leader will ensure that laptop is fully charge ) Take door lock reading of vacant villas on weekly basis. Hand over to Director or Assistant manager for enquiry. To monitor Fire panel and take appropriate action whenever required. Any other cognate duties assigned to you by your Assistant Security Manager.

  • Special Requirements


  • Secondary Education.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing and spoken)
  • Trained in First Aid and CPR.
  • Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum).
  • Ability to conduct investigations and record statements.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven experience in staff development.
  • “Hands-on” approach to all tasks.
  • Physically fit.
