Responsibilities
-          Leading the entire F&B division – Service, Kitchen and Stewarding

-          Budgeting and forecasting of the F&B departments

-          Colleague and talent development is fostered

-          Develop departmental trainers, assign training responsibility and meet trainers monthly

-          Ensure that all outlet managers are fully aware of markets needs and trends and that their
           product and service meet the demands

-          Coordinate with the Chef to ensure that employees are educated and aware of seasonal and
           new products on the market

-          Hold monthly performance meetings with the outlet and culinary management.  

-          All rules & regulations are strictly established and adhered to within the hotel including hotel’s
           policy on fire and safety as well as hygiene regulations including HACCP

-          Sales are driven to the department’s full potential and budgets and forecasts are adhered to

-          Costs are in line with sales without compromising quality 

-          The department is driven in an entrepreneurial manner, looking for opportunities to generate
           more business at all times

-          Handle guest feedback and requests in a prompt and courteous manner

-          Monitor and consistently improve quality and guest satisfactions with the given tools

-          Close collaboration with the corporate office to further develop and manifest new ideas, partly
           in cooperation with other hotels in the Kempinski chain

-          Implement corporate policies, procedures, guidelines, traditions and initiatives

Competencies
 -          Completed training or studies in the food & beverage and culinary sector

-          Excellent oral and written skills in English (additional language is beneficial)

-          At least 2 years of professional experience as Assistant F&B Manager or Executive chef with a
            proven track of managing restaurants

-          Result and quality driven

-          Open and friendly manner as well as an eye for detail

-          Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, Latvian and Russian of benefit

-          Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth and changing environment

-          Ability to operate computer and office equipment

-          Proficiency in excel and word

-          Excellent organizational & time management skills

-          Entrepreneurial, straightforward, team player, works well under pressure, people oriented

-          Passion for European Luxury

-          EU work eligable (passport)
