THE OPPORTUNITY

We have launched a brand-new restaurant concept on our 6th Floor roof top restaurant called Lefel 6, where every plate has the potential to create a memory that lasts a lifetime for our guests.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

You are an individual who believes that eating-out is about an experience, an inspired individual who can not only “surprise and delight” their guests but will also be an excellent supervisor of people who will thrive on developing and driving the team to excellence.

You will have a professional and friendly personality, be able to keep calm under pressure, be confident, organised and maintain a hands-on approach. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a guest and team first approach and a real passion for great service delivery and people development.

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...

  • Greeting customers upon arrival with a friendly smile and welcoming personality
  • Up to date with local neighbourhood information, so you can give great recomendations to our hotel guests.
  • Incredible customer service
  • Presenting food & cocktail menus and providing detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
  • Informing customers about specials, upselling, and making recommendations
  • Arranging table settings and maintaining a beautifully presented dining area
  • Taking food and drink orders from customers
  • Preparing drinks and serving them to customers
  • Running food orders from the kitchen, verifying that they are correct, and serving them to customers
  • Checking in on customer and giving celebrity service from start to finish. 
  • Removing used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables
  • Collecting payments from tables
  • Assist with Start of day and End of day procedures including prep for the next shift.
  • Weekend, Early Morning and Late night availability
