SALES TRAINEE

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a Sales Trainee per September 2024!

As a Sales Trainee you are part of the Sales Team together with international, passionate and fun colleagues who like to work hard and play hard. You will be guided by our Sales Coordinators, Executives, Managers and our Director of Sales to get the most out of this exiting opportunity. The starting date would be open to discuss.

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming place, where guests find uncomplicated experiences in a casual atmosphere. Our hotel has 330 rooms, 6 spacious meeting places and an inviting restaurant & Bar. We welcome guests from all over the world, whether for business, group travel or leisure.

 

Responsibilities 

·         You support the sales department of the hotel – with a specific focus on Corporate sales.

·         You assist in making sure all administrative tasks are handled in a correct manner;

·         You monitor and evaluate local, national, international trends and competition to make sure Hyatt Place remains ahead of the market

§  You liaise and work closely with the related operational departments ensuring guest's requests and expectations are being met.

·         You support the sales manager during the complete sales cycle with market research, prospecting, site inspections, negotiations and preparing proposals.

·         Next to that you support the sales manager with account management of the existing clients.

·         Assisting sales colleagues responsible for other segments on their day to day tasks.

Qualifications

·         You are enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelors program in the Netherlands; Hotel Management, Facility Management, or Tourism & Leisure Management;

• You are eligible to perform your internship in the Netherlands;
• You are fluent in English;
• You are looking for a full-time internship;

·         You are pro-active, a natural planner and customer focused;

·         You have an enthusiastic and caring attitude;
