Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Align and implement GC HR strategy and priorities in Corporate support center and provide inputs on Organization Design and effectiveness in line with the GC business needs and priorities. Regularly analyze business needs to set priorities, monitor and measure HR strategy/projects/initiatives are delivering the outcome. 


 

  • Act as the HRBP for designated functions in Corporate support center. Provide end-to-end HR support to the key stakeholders to implement HR programs, initiatives and deliver HR processes. 


Support Head of HR, Corporate & Reward in leading efforts to embed IHG core values and growth behaviour, managing the day-to-day HR operations and employee relations in the corporate support center.

 

  • Provide consultation and direction to support center people managers on how to create and maintain a positive employee relations environment, employee concerns, facilitate team & talent development and develop workable solutions on a local basis. 


 

  • Work closely with HR COE team to drive and implement the HR Programs and people strategy as part of business strategy, in the areas of talent resourcing, talent & leadership development, labour compliance, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement & communication, reward and related HR projects. 


 

  • Support the execution of HR policy/guidelines, recruiting strategies, compensation & benefit plans, IHG Commitment, Colleague Heartbeat etc. to enhance employee engagement, drive efficiencies and create employee value for the GC corporate support center team.  


 

  • Be responsible for managing drive and implementing regional or global HR projects as required and based on business needs.

  •  Proven problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills; 
  •  Business acumen that will enable an effective business partnering role with key stakeholders
  • Ability to deal effectively with diverse viewpoints and gain consensus as a team player;
  • Experience in project management and change management
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.


 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources related preferred 
  • 10+ experience in relevant Human Resources Management with at least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner/HR generalist
  • Consulting background and project management experience are highly preferred. 
  • Experience in multi-unit roles and large multi-national preferred.
