Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for designing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy, sourcing, and attracting candidates to meet IHG hiring needs. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing and recruiting top talent, maintaining a robust talent pipeline, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. 

 

Your day to day:

Implement Recruiting Strategies:

  • Utilize various methods such as job postings, IHG systems, social media, employee referrals, and agencies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and labor market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.


 Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Development:

  • Drive the talent planning meeting for designated BUs.
  • Develop a diverse talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates through networking, social media, and professional groups.
  • Oversee the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure a seamless recruitment process, and continue doing candidate engagement activities for the target audiences. 
  • Maintain the structure data in the systems to make talent planning more effective. 


Hiring Process Management:

  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume reviews, interviews, offer negotiations and pre-onboarding.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide regular updates on recruitment status.


Project management

  • Work for the TA-related project includes planning, strategy development, and tasks such as defining, designing, developing, and delivering until the embedding phase.


Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track and report key metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on recruitment activities and outcomes.


 Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Always doing the right things and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruitment best practices. E.g. Artificial Intelligence in recruitment etc.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in talent acquisition or HR related field.
    • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and strategies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technologies, including ATS and social media platforms.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
