About the role

The F&B Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing professional assistance of the office duties from the F&B and Culinary management. Her duties are to keep an organized, focused and business orientated environment, so that the operation stays productive or effective. The person will work closely with the Culinary and Service teams to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the experience of the guest. Will work with the FB Leadership team to establish trainings and implementing plans that will help the team exceed the departmental goals. 

 
Key Duties of Job Responsibilities 

• To report for duty punctually, in full uniform according to appearance and grooming standards.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services.
• Follow directions from the Management in order to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Be aware of in-house VIPs and review Guest preferences.
• Attend to team briefings from Culinary and Service site.
• Play an active role in the daily team briefings.
• Assist in various duties of the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage, such as completing orders, communicating with suppliers, communicating with One&Only colleagues, entering schedules for outlets, running and keeping reports up to date for the month-end, assisting in the stock take, and other duties which may appear.
• Be an expert in all related systems, such as Outlook, 7Rooms, Ordering Systems, etc.
• A good knowledge of all menus and the hotel. Especially show consistent interest and improvement in the Food & Beverage section.
• Constructively cooperate with other serving specialists and the kitchen department to reassure quality of services.
• Preserve the workstation organized and stocked in order to better accommodate the needs of the colleagues and of our guests.
• To be aligned with the HACCP and Health & Safety standards.
• To be responsible for handling of all equipment and supplies.
• To assist with any other duties that are required by the member of the management team, this includes also potential time on the floor with guests. If this applies, all guest focused key duties and responsibilities apply.

 

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications  

• At least 2 years’ experience at a similar level or service.
• Experience in 5*, upmarket resort would be an advantage but not a requirement.
