As our Operations Intern, you ensure that the guests at Lisbeyond's properties receive the best service possible and have a great time during their stay in our Algarve Properties. Also, together with our team you assure that the Lisbeyond properties are in a good state, arrange that the housekeeping team is informed about needed services, and much more. This is a very exciting and dynamic operations position at our Lisbeyond Algarve Hub.
Tasks you will take care of:
- Handle guest communication
- Greet guests and visitors
- Performing regular visits to the properties
- Checking and reporting improvement opportunities at our properties
- Checking amenities and their stock
- Housekeeping planning and management
- Managing files, updating paperwork
- Updating our Property Management System
- Assist the operations team with unpredictable situations or any problem
In this internship, you will learn a lot about the operations at a hospitality company, focused on short-term rentals. You will gain professional skills, time management skills and intercultural understanding.

L'entreprise
LisBeyond was started by five friends: Diogo & José from Portugal, and Max, Tom & Maud from The Netherlands. LisBeyond was born in 2018 as a property management company in Lisbon. Over the years we have developed close partnerships with a select group of local property owners. So far, we have already welcomed more than 10.000 guests to our apartments, rooms, and houses in Lisbon, Costa da Caparica, Sintra, and Mafra. In 2021 we decided to broaden our horizon and offer our property management services in the beautiful Algarve and Porto region as well.
Next to that we have expanded our services to new areas. Lisbeyond also offers construction services for interior renovations, and assistance in obtaining a Golden Visa in Portugal.
In all our work our approach is simple: local, authentic, professional and fun. We work mostly with local, Portuguese partners, with whom we have a personal and friendly relationship. We put a lot of emphasis on this personal connection with our partners because we aim to create an authentic network and provide the best experience for all our clients and guests in Portugal.
