Overview of Position

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Cook II for our Pastry Kitchen. The incumbent should have a minimum of 1-2 years of pastry experience required. Pastry Cook responsibilities include pastry preparation and decorating; baking; sanitation; and organization of pastry kitchen. Incumbent must have well rounded baking skills, food knowledge, as well as knowledge of proper sanitation practices. ServSafe certified preferred. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. This is a full time position only. 

The Pastry Cook reports directly to the Pastry Chef.

• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in the similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.

• Flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.

• Have excellent communication and organization skills.

• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation. 

• Able to work together with other colleagues.

• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.

• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.

• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.

• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
