- Major responsibilities
- Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
- To ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Macau’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained to reflect an image of professionalism and care.
- To carry out annual appraisals and regular feedback on development on all colleagues using the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Performance and Development System PROFILE.
- Seek and contact new potential commercial accounts through direct enquiries, sales leads and sales blitz follow-up.
- Responsible for room night and revenue production from allocated accounts.
- Monitor own corporate accounts’ monthly production and attend monthly corporate account review meetings.
- Update all Fidelio / Delphi Sales and Catering account and contact profiles to maintain a proper profile of all corporate accounts.
- Attend daily sales briefings, weekly sales meetings and bi-weekly business development meeting.
- Follow up on all sales leads.
- Participate in familiarization visits and entertain as and when required.
- Conduct on site inspections for potential clients.
- Participate in any projects as and when assigned by the direct superior.
- Monitor current market trends and supply competitor activity information to the DOS.
- Participate in overseas sales trips and, when required, complete all sales report within one week of the trip.
- Prepare weekly sales call report.
- Distribute seasonal gifts to clients.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the department head.
