Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets, including but not limited to restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, and room service.
- Work alongside the culinary and service teams to ensure the quality and consistency of food and beverage offerings.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional service, address inquiries, and resolve any concerns promptly and courteously.
- Support the planning and execution of events, including weddings, conferences, and other special occasions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge hospitality industry trends.
- Take initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas for enhancing the guest experience and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to Marriott Group's policies, procedures, and values, including those related to teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Must have working rights in Australia. Visas would need to be secured by your own before application - Securing a Working Holiday Visa would be highly recommended. - Must be a part of a college program.
- 6 Months Internship from July/August.
- Strong passion for the food and beverage industry and a desire to pursue a career in hospitality.
