We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance technician professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of the hotel’s facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, heating, and air conditioning (HVAC).
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from management or staff, ensuring all issues are resolved efficiently.
- Performing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities are operating smoothly.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and structural issues as they arise.
- Ensuring the hotel’s exterior and grounds are kept clean and well-maintained.
- Assisting with room inspections and addressing issues such as lighting, furniture, fixtures, and general upkeep.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work completed and materials used.
- Collaborating with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs when required.
- Adhering to all safety protocols to ensure the safety of staff, guests, and hotel property.
- Supporting emergency response measures, such as fire alarm system checks or other urgent repairs.
- Performing any additional maintenance-related duties assigned by the management team.

À propos de vous
- Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or hotel setting.
- Proficiency in a variety of maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, if required.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
