Job Opportunity: Director of Global Sales, Leisure
Location: Mid Atlantic or Southeast USA (Remote within Territory)
Department: Global Sales Office, The Americas
Reports To: Regional Director of Global Sales, The Americas




About Us:
We are a prestigious luxury hotel brand seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Global Sales, Leisure, to drive our sales efforts in the Mid Atlantic and Southeast USA. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence our sales strategy and build strong relationships within the travel industry.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Establish, maintain, and expand relationships within the leisure sector, focusing on both existing RFH customers and new prospects.
  • Account Management: Provide total account management with preferred partners (Rocco Forte Knights), including bi-annual meetings, planning sales activities, and attending trade events.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute an annual sales plan for the assigned territory and accounts.
  • Trade Show Representation: Attend industry trade shows and events, representing our brand in-market or where Americas GSO presence is required.
  • Sales Goals: Achieve and exceed individual and team quarterly and annual sales/revenue goals and KPI targets.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate sales trips, brand events, client entertainment, trade shows, and special client events.
  • FAM Trips: Coordinate Familiarization (FAM) trips to hotels.
  • Roadshow Management: Assist with organizing annual roadshows with Sir Rocco and/or General Managers, handling logistics such as venue sourcing, guest lists, and travel arrangements.
  • Client Interaction: Facilitate individual reservations and group inquiries, providing professional, timely, and attentive service.
  • Hotel Coordination: Collaborate with hotels and reservations to service agency requests and provide sales assistance.
  • Market Insight: Identify and share the latest market trends and competitor practices.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of sales strategies.
  • Marketing Support: Coordinate and produce email blasts and mailings as needed.





Administrative Duties:

  • Run and analyze production reports for managed accounts.
  • Maintain up-to-date client contact information and sales activities in Opera Cloud and internal databases.
  • Manage and update all agency profile data in Opera Cloud.
  • Complete monthly expense reports, sales activity reports, and other month-end duties.
  • Oversee annual sales and marketing budgets.
  • Maintain and update internal reports, databases, and tracking documents.





Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of luxury hotel sales experience in the Mid Atlantic and Southeast USA territory.
  • Experience in representing/selling villas and private residences is recommended.
  • Proficiency with luxury consortia programs (e.g., Amex FH&R, Internova, Virtuoso, Signature, Ensemble, Serandipians).
  • Strong skills in G Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Opera and Opera Cloud, is preferred.
