Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage Concierge Desk to provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Rosewood at Baha Mar’s hospitality
• Deliver prompt, efficient and courteous Concierge service following Rosewood Baha Mar’s standards of excellence
• Manage day to day operation of concierge department through activities including, but not limited to staffing, payroll and scheduling.
• Assist with development of all training-related materials and train Concierge staff and all hotel employees in Concierge procedures.
• Ensure Concierge leave guests with a lasting impression by treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and providing personalized and friendly service
• Provide personal services of the highest level that may include restaurant reservations, recreation requests, floral orders, etc.
• Maintain a clean and organized Concierge Desk equipped with maps, menus and other required materials
• Ensure guests always have maximum comfort
• Resolve any guest requests in a timely, friendly and professional manner and supervise that Concierge agents do it as well
• Interact with guests always displaying proper etiquette following Rosewood Baha Mar’s standards
• Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
• Total compliance with Rosewood Baha Mar’s standards of operation
• Recommend tactics to consolidate and streamline guest operations
• Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
• Update Preferred Vendors to provide the best quality tours and activities to guests
• Manage the courier requirements for all guests
• Ensure all associates are informed with special activities, restaurant updates, tour information, etc. so they can communicate properly with guests and promote activities
• Maintains a nurtured relationship with all restaurant managers at Baha Mar, tour vendors, transportation company, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned
