We are looking for a new breed of Stewarding Management professional to join us as the Carlyle & Co. Senior / Stewarding Manager. This position will take care of the full range of Stewarding operations for the club. About the role:
We are looking for a new breed of Stewarding Management professional to join us as the Carlyle & Co. Senior / Stewarding Manager. This position will take care of the full range of Stewarding operations for the club. What you will do:
- Ensures the efficient and economic operation of the Stewarding Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and overseeing the operating equipment inventory
- Works closely with other Food and Beverage Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Club and the satisfaction of Club Members
- Spends time in the Operation (during peak periods) to ensure that it is managed well by the respective Stewarding associates and functions to the fullest expectations
- Ensures that Stewarding associates work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams"
- Conducts monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies
- Has through understanding and knowledge of all Food and Beverage equipment needs and network with sister hotels and other hotels to borrow equipment as and when needed.
- Drive projects and perform ad-hoc duties as required
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience as Stewarding Manager. Exposure in luxury hospitality will be an advantage
- An outgoing and dynamic approach to problem solving
- An ability to connect with a local and international workforce, across all levels
- Good command of written and spoken in Cantonese and English
