Job Description

Responsible for promoting and ensuring residents satisfaction by providing quality service in a friendly, natural, and courteous manner. Work closely with Residence front of house team to provide impeccable service and ensure all public areas are clean, safe and in impeccable condition. Ensure best practice in all areas are followed and Rosewood Residence brand standards are in place. Collaborate with all departments, stepping-in to assist when needed, never using the phrase “not my job”. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents and associates.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

General

  • Well groomed, professional appearance with good communication skills.
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Clean and maintain floors (vacuum and dust daily).
  • Shine all brass/chrome fixtures, touch up as needed throughout the day.
  • Dust / polish all furniture, chairs, tables, lamps, and bookcases daily.
  • Clean all windows as needed, check daily for fingerprints.
  • Ensure front doors are cleaned frequently throughout the day, removing all smudges and fingerprints.
  • Spot clean woodwork and washable walls and doors as needed.
  • Chairs and upholstery to be cleaned on a regular schedule.
  • Frequently clean all surfaces in lobby and public space throughout the day, refresh/stage pillows, furnishings placement as needed.
  • Empty trashcan at a minimum twice daily.
  • Maintain high standard of cleaning including high touch areas throughout the property. This includes entrance, guest elevator buttons, door frames, light switches, etc.
  • Oversee restrooms, ensuring they are cleaned, refreshed between guests, removing any trash or used terry.
  • Ensure closets are stocked with supplies.
  • Report any maintenance problems and ensure it gets fixed and assets are well kept.
  • Clean and maintain all associate and public restrooms.
  • Vacuum and remove trash from all office space throughout the property.
  • Regularly patrol the building to ensure cleanliness and upkeep and ensure everything is in good working order.
  • Greet the residents upon arrival whenever possible.
  • Pass along any important information pertaining to residence personal preferences, interests, complaints for everyone’s reference.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments to tackle any guest’s issues.
  • Assist in training new associates in all basic skills including greeting skills.
  • Promote teamwork and collaborative spirit among team members.
  • Foster team understanding of Rosewood core values.


 

 

Administration

  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with Rosewood’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintain work area ensuring the necessary supplies are available
  • Maintain daily log, records and forms using the appropriate software.


 

 

Safety

  • Monitor all property access points (gates, garages, doors, elevator) through the operation of Closed-Circuit Television where applicable.
  • Report all suspicious activity to proper authority to ensure continued resident safety.
  • Immediately contact emergency maintenance / services personnel if an emergency maintenance situation develops.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Help maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building.
  • Walk the building premises monitoring and report any repairment or improvement needed.


 

 

 

 

 

Other

  • Ensure all public areas, elevators and entrance are in tip top condition.
  • Greet the residents upon arrival whenever possible and all returning non-fulltime residents upon their return.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments to tackle any guest’s issues.
  • Ensure grooming and appearance of the team members following Rosewood’s guiding standards.
  • Promote teamwork and collaborative spirit among team members.
  • Foster team understanding of Rosewood core values.

Language:

  • Required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.


 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting 60+ pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding


 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Licenses & Certifications: None required.


 

 

Experience

 

  • 1-2 years of working experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury residential building.
  • Knowledge of the area.
  • Tactful and positive attitude.
