Job Summary
The Chef de Cuisine specializing in Italian Cuisine will manage the culinary operations of the Italian restaurant kitchen. This role requires a passion for Italian cuisine, creativity in menu development, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
Key Responsibilities
Create and develop authentic Italian menus, ensuring a balance of traditional and innovative dishes.
Prepare authentic Italian dishes
Train the culinary team in the preparation of all dishes
Be proactive in guest engagement and take feedback from the guests on the food served.
Works with the Executive chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s vision.
Practically familiar with HACCP systems, standards, and hygiene management
Ensures that all food served in the outlet respects hotel standards, in terms of quality, taste, portioning, presentation, and variety and hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation
Handles guest concerns or other department concerns in a professional manner
To produce a consistent, high quality product and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.
