Job Summary

We are currently looking for a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to deliver outstanding service and create a memorable dining experience for the guests. This person will be responsible for ensuring the meal operations in the outlet is smooth and all guests are well taken by the team of trained staff.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, we rely on you to

• Assists in the control of F&B divisional expenses by educating outlets on proper chemical usage, equipment handling, breakage costs and safety issues.
• To provide leadership through good product knowledge, operation awareness and role modelling
• Monitors and controls staff punctuality and attendance
• Motivates employees: - Provide positive feedback & reinforcement - Practice effective listening - Show concern and help - Recognize staff birthdays / other occasions.
• Determines priorities, set goals & follow up: - Prepares daily / monthly action plan - Grades priorities.
• Prepares staff rosters schedules and submits to supervisor.
• Coaches, counsels, disciplines employees: - Logs specific incidents / offer advice.

What we're looking for

• Great conversational skills for engaging with guests.
• Strong English skills
• Positive Attitude and willingness to learn.
• Hotel School Degree or a diploma would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
