We are looking for a Cost Accountant / Cost Controller based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As a Cost Accountant / Cost Controller, we rely on you to:

  • Act as a leader of the team including Store and Receiving Departments and direct report to Financial Controller.
  • Handle critical section for month end closing, including Journals preparation, stock reconciliation, physical stock count.
  • Prepare Analysis report, including cost analysis, balance sheet reconciliation and Cost Controller’s reports.
  • Ensure the Hotel’s policies and Comply requirement of internal control per Controller’s Checklist.
  • Provide support to operation department including pricing update and management of Point-of-sales systems and Purchase Requisitions.
  • Conduct a routing review of Par Stock Levels and ensuring stock replenishments are adequate and on time.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Higher Diploma / Degree holder, preferably in Accountancy, Hotel Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in Cost Control; preferably in hospitality industry, experience in auditing is definitely an advantage
  • Sense of Control, independent & self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledges in SCM and Infrasys is a plus.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Fresh graduates from reputable CPA firms are welcomed.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Cost Accountant / Assistant Cost Controller
