An opportunity has arisen in our Global Headquarter under the Group Internal Audit Department which provides a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, governance and controls. As a Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management, you will engage with multiple stakeholders at all levels to build and maintain ongoing business relationships.

As a Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management, we rely on you to:

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams across the Group to drive the design and implementation of the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report all material risks that the Group is exposed to.
  • Responsible for the overall management and execution of the risk management strategy and activities. Establish, implement and manage all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risk, with an objective of a robust risk management culture.
  • Formulate sound risk policies/ framework appropriate to local country environment/ regulations.
  • Facilitate discussions with business owners to implement enterprise risk management and align their risk tolerance/ appetite to the Group’s corporate governance. Escalate risk issues to Chief Auditor and senior management.
  • Provide constructive challenge and oversight to the identification, measurement, monitoring, controlling, and reporting of enterprise-wide risks faced by the Group.
  • Maintain and improve internal control environment through active engagement with 2nd of Line of Defence to educate and facilitate implementation of appropriate key controls. Work with Group Internal Audit to assess risks from critical audit findings and facilitate the development of management controls assessment to address identified gaps.
  • Collate and compile monthly Key Risk Indicators and Risk Dashboard for various regions. Work with all key stakeholders to update and distribute the monthly ERM dashboards for review and follow-up by the hotel, regional and headquarter management.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the monthly Risk Management Committee. Lead the annual risk register review with all risk owners to ensure the risk register is up-to-date and reflects material risks faced by the Group. Support development of annual audit plan for internal audit.
  • Drive the continuous effort of enhancement and modernization of its ERM work approach, including use of systems and technology to facilitate better coordination of different lines of management, more effective and efficient reporting process.
  • Develop and conduct training for enterprise risk management and integrated assurance framework.


We are looking for someone who has/is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business/ Risk Management or related disciplines.
  • At least 12 to 15 years of experience in global organization for enterprise risk management or with a professional services firm. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management role with proven track record of leading and coaching a team of professionals in a large publicly quoted company or a professional services firm. Lodging/ hospitality industry experience would be an added advantage.
  • Professional qualifications and certification for Enterprise Risk Management are preferred. Experience in Integrated Assurance Framework (IAF) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is an advantage.
  • Strong risk assessment ability to independently conclude on risk and control matters with intimate knowledge of various risk management approaches and their applications, for all major risk types.
  • Strong relationship builder that operates with a collaborative mindset to ensure that key stakeholders are considered; communicates well with key stakeholders at all levels and can make presentations confidently to senior management. Excellent project and team management skills with strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently. Acute attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills. Fast learner with a willing attitude, resilience and a team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to take large volumes of complex data and present it in a clear and concise manner appropriate for management decision-making.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; Strong command of Mandarin is essential.
