An opportunity has arisen in our Global Headquarters under the Operational Performance division to drive and support strategic initiatives related to Roomsthat align with Group’s strategic directions and ensure end-to-end successful implementations.

As a Vice President, Rooms, we rely on you to:

  • Be the champion to constantly evaluate new technologies that can improve operations efficiency and service standards, conduct cost and benefit analysis, make sound proposals, test and pilot the new technologies as appropriate
  • Monitor customer experience performance related to Rooms areas such as FL15 and WAGs, and regularly share and work with the Regions to ensure improvement plans at hotels are being developed and executed accordingly
  • Ensure the established quality standards for services and products related to Rooms are reinforced
  • Ensure all Rooms SOPs as up-to-date and well communicated to all regions and hotels
  • Provide clear directions and manage resources in the department efficiently to maximise the output of the team
  • Coach and develop team members based on their expertise, skills and career aspirations


We are looking for someone who has/is:

  • 15+ years’ experience in a senior operations leadership position in a related industry
  • Strategic thinker
  • Demonstrate business acumen, executive presence and leadership qualities to maintain a high level of trust, credibility and confidence within the organisation
  • Practical, result-oriented with outstanding communication skills, able to communicate securely through all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent financial and analytical acumen
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proven project management skills and ability to prioritise work based on importance and urgency
  • Take strong ownership of the work and able to build strong partnership skills with other departments
  • Good knowledge of developing governing documents, tools, brand standards and processes
