Bell Person/Concierge

Job Description:

To provide and maintain sincere, courteous and knowledgeable service to all guests. Project warmth, aggressive hospitality in a proficient manner through being well versed in; area restaurants and attractions; transportation options; hotel services and amenities offered.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Welcoming, greeting, and escorting guests
• Rooming guests for arrivals and departures
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all guest storage areas and bell carts
• Assisting with amenity, envelope, package, and equipment deliveries
• Displaying a friendly, courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions with guests, patrons and other employees
• Listening to, and promptly acting to resolve, guest issues and requests
• Achieving maximum customer satisfaction

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Must possess a positive attitude
• Must be energetic and outgoing
• Must be service oriented
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to four (4) hours.

Qualification Standards:

Education:  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:   At least 1 year of experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel preferred

Grooming:  All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)

The expected pay range for this position is $16.00 per hour after 90 day probationary period completion pay range will be $18.50 per hour.
