HOUSEKEEPING INTERN

The internship will give you the opportunity to:

· Put into practice the theories and concepts you have learnt.

The internship will focus on all aspects of the Housekeeping Department starting with cleaning bedrooms, understanding procedures, preparing rooms for special occasion (VIP, honeymoon etc.) with the aim to develop to Supervisory level with rooms check and customer service. This is a rigorous and hard internship which is also rewarding as it will prepare you for skills needed in future management roles by requiring to develop skills in organisation, time management, communication, adaptability, strategic thinking, flexibility etc

Accommodation provided by the hotel is located in the city centre of Paphos, across two of the biggest supermarkets (Sklavenitis and Lidl). It is opposite a park and near a bus stop. There are many shops on the main road next to the building. Interns will be accommodated in shared rooms with ensuite/private bathroom. Bedding and sheets are provided and changed regularly. A towel is provided on arrival but you can bring your own bath towel. Rooms come with a shared kitchen and sitting area on each floor. Kitchens are equipped with pots and pans and utensils and there is a washing machine on each floor. There is free wifi, air-conditioning and all utility and building expenses are covered. Transportation from the Accommodation to the hotel on work days is included in the package (either in a form of a shuttle or a bus pass) unless the accommodation is within walking distance from the hotel.
