Restaurant Supervisor
À propos du poste
Not every Restaurant Supervisor simply runs a restaurant shift.
Some create the pace, warmth, and attention that make guests want to come back.
We are looking for experienced and service-minded Restaurant Supervisors for our partner hotels — 4–5 star properties where dining is an important part of the guest experience, from breakfast and à la carte service to special occasions, hotel guests, and external visitors.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team during service, reading the room, supporting guests, and making sure every table feels looked after from welcome to farewell.
If you understand that restaurant service is not only about taking orders, but about timing, atmosphere, product knowledge, teamwork, and genuine hospitality, we would be happy to hear from you.
What you’ll do
* Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
* Support waiters, hosts, runners, bartenders, and other restaurant team members on the floor.
* Ensure guests are welcomed, seated, served, and followed up with in a warm and professional way.
* Monitor table flow, reservations, waiting times, order accuracy, service pace, and guest satisfaction.
* Support smooth breakfast, lunch, dinner, or à la carte service depending on the hotel.
* Handle guest requests, complaints, delays, wrong orders, dietary needs, allergies, and billing questions professionally.
* Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Bar, Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Banqueting, and other hotel departments.
* Ensure menu knowledge, daily specials, wine and beverage recommendations, and upselling opportunities are used in a guest-friendly way.
* Maintain high standards of mise en place, table setup, cleanliness, service areas, menus, equipment, and restaurant presentation.
* Support team briefings, training, coaching, and daily service preparation.
* Monitor guest feedback, special occasions, VIP guests, repeat guests, and service recovery follow-up.
* Assist with stock control, service supplies, breakages, handovers, and daily operational reports.
* Escalate serious guest issues, safety concerns, or operational incidents to the appropriate manager.
What you’ll bring
* Previous restaurant, hotel F&B, fine dining, casual dining, bar, or hospitality experience.
* Experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, Shift Leader, Host Supervisor, or strong restaurant team member ready for the next step.
* Strong floor presence and confidence leading a team during busy service.
* Warm, professional, and clear guest communication skills.
* Good understanding of restaurant service sequence, table management, order flow, hygiene, and service standards.
* Ability to stay calm during peak periods, full restaurant service, delays, and guest complaints.
* Good product knowledge or willingness to learn menus, beverages, wines, allergens, and hotel offers.
* Attention to detail with table setup, guest preferences, orders, bills, and service timing.
* Positive attitude, reliability, flexibility, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and busy service periods.
* Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
What makes you stand out
* You can read a table before the guest needs to raise a hand.
* You understand that timing is one of the strongest parts of restaurant service.
* You notice when a guest is waiting too long, confused, uncomfortable, or not fully satisfied.
* You can support the team without losing sight of the whole restaurant.
* You handle complaints without blaming the kitchen, the waiter, or the guest.
* You understand that upselling should feel like a helpful recommendation, not pressure.
* You know that a great restaurant experience is built through pace, warmth, accuracy, and atmosphere.
