We are seeking experienced hotel engineering technicians for the role/s of Rooms Technician within our engineering department. Job Summary:
As a Rooms Technician you are responsible for:
*Assisting with the operation, maintenance, service and repair of equipment as assigned.
*Participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned.
*Performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.
Education & Experience:
*Required to have a minimum of 1 year prior hotel engineering experience.
*Trade experience (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry etc) is highly preferred and is very advantageous.
* Valid driver's license required.
*Provide a clean police record.
*Able to work without supervision.
*Communicate well with others in a polite, professional and engaging manner.
*Hours of employment will vary and may include hours between 11pm and 7am, 6 days per week including holidays.
