Barlatte Gelato & Caffe is seeking to recruit an experienced Barista on a full-time and part-time basis who can work within a team and give a high standard of service.
We are looking for someone who can perform the following duties with a polite and engaging personality:
- Welcoming customers and providing excellent service
- Informing customers of specials and upselling products
- Preparing and serving foods such as sandwiches, wraps, baked goods, pancakes, waffles, crepes, & ice-cream
- Making and serving coffee, tea, lattes, shakes, smoothies, & drinks
- Cleaning and sanitizing all areas at all times
- Placing requests for orders with the Supervisor
- Updating signage and displays to attract customers
- Adhere to all food health & safety regulations and quality control.

Requirements:
- Previous experience is required
- Knowledge of coffee preparation
- Knowledge of latte art and specialty coffee drinks would be considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Good time management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Lingua richiesta: Inglese. Maltese è un plus
