Are you an energetic hospitality leader ready for a career-defining move to one of Africa’s most vibrant cities?


Mamatcha is a stylish, hip destination in Lagos blending premium coffee culture with a high-end restaurant and lounge atmosphere. We are seeking a dynamic, Expat General Manager to take full ownership of this unique concept.


The Role

As GM, you will be the face of Mamatcha, leading a high-performance team to deliver a world-class guest experience. This is a hands-on role for a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced, stylish environments and possesses a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, stock control, and P&L performance.
  • Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to maintain elite service standards.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure every guest enjoys a vibrant, high-quality, and seamless visit.
  • Problem Solving: Navigate operational challenges with calm, decisive action.


Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in management (Lounge, Premium Coffee Shop, or Modern Restaurant).
  • Background: Proven track record in high-volume, trendy hospitality environments.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, proactive "owner-operator" mindset, and a passion for modern service standards.
  • Availability: Ready to relocate to Lagos and embrace an international expat career.


Premium Expat Package

  • Salary: USD $1,000 – $1,300 net per month (Experience dependent).
  • Full Relocation Support: Provided accommodation, transport, and feeding.
  • Travel: 1 Annual return flight ticket & Resident Permit included.
  • Health: Comprehensive medical cover in Nigeria.
  • Rest: 6 weeks annual leave.
