one80, Mgarr Yacht Marina, Gozo is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team.

We are a modern Mediterranean restaurant in a Marina with focus on local and Southern Italian influences delivering refined, seasonal dishes with strong attention to detail, consistency and presentation.


A solid past experience in a dynamic A La Carte Mediterranean restaurant operation is required for this role. Related industry qualifications will be considered favourable.

  • Starting from €20,800
  • - The Restaurant shall pay the Employee for hours worked over and above the 40-hour week in line to Maltese legislation - Double pay when working on Public Holidays up to 8hrs - Uniforms covered by company - Quarterly bonuses (known as government bonus) - Meals on duty - Employee discounts across all one80 establishments - Outlet tips share

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee and manage your designated section during prep and service
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards
  • Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and specials



Requirements


  • Proven experience as Chef de Partie in a quality-driven restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine
  • Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Professional attitude and attention to detail
