FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE INTERN

The internship will give you the opportunity to:

·        Put into practice the theories and concepts you have learnt.

·        Gain insight into the luxury hotel industry in Cyprus.

·        Discover potential fields of specialisation or area of future study.

The internship will cover aspects of bar and/or restaurant operations including but not limited to customer service, waiting tables, setting and clearing tables, opening and closing procedures, cleaning, stock taking, helping colleagues etc.

The candidates should have:

·        Good command of English, additional European language is an advantage.

·        Drive to perform well and learn new things.

·        Team spirit and pleasant personality.

·        Energy and enthusiasm with excellent communication skills.

·        Natural flair for first class service and hospitality.

·        Outstanding organisational and time management skills.

·        EU or Swiss nationality/passport.

Accommodation provided by the hotel is located in the city centre of Paphos, across two of the biggest supermarkets (Sklavenitis and Lidl). It is opposite a park and near a bus stop. There are many shops on the main road next to the building. Interns will be accommodated in shared rooms with ensuite/private bathroom. Bedding and sheets are provided and changed regularly. A towel is provided on arrival but you can bring your own bath towel. Rooms come with a shared kitchen and sitting area on each floor. Kitchens are equipped with pots and pans and utensils and there is a washing machine on each floor. There is free wifi, air-conditioning and all utility and building expenses are covered. Transportation from the Accommodation to the hotel on work days is included in the package (either in a form of a shuttle or a bus pass) unless the accommodation is within walking distance from the hotel.
