About Our Client: U.S.-based ultra-luxury cruise brand positioned in the premium global market. The company is recognized for its high-spending, well-traveled clientele and for placing culinary excellence at the center of the guest experience.
About the Operation: Boutique fleet of luxury vessels accommodating approximately 1,200 guests per ship, each featuring multiple refined dining venues including specialty fine-dining restaurants. The French specialty restaurant operates as an intimate fine-dining venue supported by a dedicated brigade of approximately 5–8 chefs, delivering classical French cuisine under strict standards of consistency, execution, and presentation.
About the Role: The Chef de Cuisine leads the French specialty restaurant, ensuring authentic culinary execution, consistent fine-dining standards, and strong operational control within the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in classical French cuisine within fine-dining environments
- Proven background in fine dining, luxury hotels, or Michelin or Rosette restaurants
- Minimum 8 years culinary experience including 3 years in a leadership role within luxury hospitality or upscale cruise line
- Proven leadership managing international kitchen brigades
- Strong financial management capability including food cost control and budgeting o Solid knowledge of USPH and HACCP standards
- Fluent English
- Valid STCW certification, C1/D visa, Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificates (or willingness to obtain prior to embarkation)
- $6,700 /month (Tax-free)
