Divisional Group Rooms Specialist - North America

The Divisional Group Rooms Specialist– North America is responsible creating the room blocks in HMS, managing the rooming list including cut off dates, deposits and reconciling the final pick up for the 5 North America Hotels. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage thegroup room blocks, upload the rooming list and ensure accuracy with all deadlines. The assigned duties and KPI’s are subject to change with a 4-week notice, depending on the Company’s needs and variable market conditions.

Main duties:

• Manage all Group inventory in conjunction with Revenue Management
• Advises accounting on deposits.

• Creates and manages Room Block in HMS
• Managing cut-off dates for all Groups in NAM
• Manages Rooming lists directly with clients and updating HMS
• Directs call-in’s to Reservations and updates HMS accordingly
• Works with Revenue Management on additional room requests
• Works with Sales Manager on reconciling attrition in HMS and directs client to Sales Manager.
• Manages final payment if not 100% pre-payment in conjunction with accounting
• Managing final pick up in HMS
• Communicates with finance and ADOSMs/DOSM’s on actualized group numbers to reflect accurately in the PST and BCO´s Sales Incentive Plan.

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Prior knowledge of revenue and group markets
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Capable of working independently in a remote environment
