Head Chef — Spanish Tapas Concept

We're looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a full restaurant rebrand in Bangkok, backed by a major hotel group, in a prime location on one of the city's most popular nightlife streets.

The concept is contemporary Spanish tapas: elevated, shareable, produce-driven plates with personality, in a chic, lively setting rather than a formal fine-dining format. The kitchen is open to the dining room, and guest connection is a core part of the experience, tableside finishing touches, occasional flame moments, a chef who's genuinely comfortable being part of the show, not just cooking behind the scenes.

We're looking for someone with strong technical skills, real presence and charisma, and a natural instinct for the visual, social-media-driven side of hospitality that defines Bangkok's dining scene today.

This is a ground-floor opportunity. You won't be stepping into a finished concept, you'll help build it: menu direction, kitchen setup, identity, working closely with the project's Creative & Artistic Director throughout.

We're at an early stage, so some details are still being finalized, but we're moving quickly with serious candidates.

5+ years of experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, guest-facing kitchen. Experience with contemporary Mediterranean, Spanish, or produce-driven cuisine strongly preferred. Comfortable working in an open kitchen, engaging directly with guests, and bringing energy and personality to the role, this is not a behind-the-scenes position. Strong leadership skills to build and run a kitchen team from the ground up. Willingness to relocate to Bangkok. Experience opening or rebranding a concept is a plus.
