Borgo Pignano is delighted to share an opportunity for a talented and passionate ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER to join our team for the 2025 season.


Borgo Pignano is a 750 acre private estate hidden away in the hills and valleys of Tuscany whose ethos is a commitment to slow food, slow living and sustainable organic farming. The estate offers two different dining concepts: Ristorante Al Fresco, which offers an informal and relaxed dining experience with a focus on local and artisanal products, and Villa Pignano. The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin Green star and offers a sophisticated menu based on 0 KM products.

 

We are looking for natural hosts and passionate hoteliers with a can-do attitude to supervise the restaurant(s) and gastronomic as well as bar experiences offered in Borgo Pignano. The candidates will focus to deliver a great service to our guests, maximise food and beverage revenue and build, lead and inspire a motivated and happy team.

Requirements:


– At least 2/3 years in the same position

– Able to deliver a great service

– Will anticipate the needs of our guests by taking extreme care of details and customer service.

–  Strong Customer orientation attitude

– Excellent grooming

– Knowledge of wine and culinary trends

– Good communication skills

–Team player

– Respect for nature and for the values that the earth represents

– Spoken and written fluency in English and Italian

– HACCP and work safety certifications

– Own car

Our dining:
Villa Pignano is our Green Michelin Star restauran where fondness for fresh ingredients and a contemporary interpretation of familiar Italian dishes is apparent with every dish.
In the summer the Al Fresco outdoor restaurant offers an informal setting with a full menu including pizzas from a wood-burning oven.
The communal table near the cheerful fireplace in the original kitchen is a spot where guests enjoy can meet at dinner.

Our experiences:
Our guests can revel in what we have on hand: cooking and art classes; a therapeutic spa; a small gym; yoga sessions; horseback riding; gravel, mountain and electric bikes; truffle-hunting; wine-tasting; tours of the estate; programs and a play area for children; a tennis court, half basketball court and an all-weather five a side soccer pitch; an extensive art collection; and an assembly of vintage Italian vehicles.
