Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, checking, recording, and storing incoming supplies and equipment while ensuring accurate documentation and inventory records.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Verify quantities, quality, and condition of received items.
• Record all received goods accurately in the inventory system.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Storekeeper.
• Assist with proper storage, labeling, and FIFO practices.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage areas.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure all receiving documents are properly filed and submitted.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Storekeeper or management.

Qualifications

Store Clerk – Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food Safety/HACCP certification.
• Experience with inventory management software.
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
