Description
The Digital Strategy and Social Media Manager is responsible for promoting the hotels in the digital space and driving business via the online channel, in accordance to the hotels’ market positioning as well as corporate brand identity and distribution guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the optimization of sales.

• Plan, execute and optimize all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, content, CVR, hotels website, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns

• Establish strategic partnership with social media channels to increase brand awareness and top line

• Design, build and maintain social media presence of the company, optimize Key Web Page popularity, support the new website project at the regional level

• Execute digital outbound strategies, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners and launch regional - worldwide cluster online campaigns as well as digital marketing campaigns - life online streaming

• Build up WeChat shop, extend WeChat booking regional office to all regional - worldwide hotels 

• Provide training, onboarding and guidance of Digital/Ecommerce Managers

• Keep regional point of contact the agency chosen for China

Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the Department Head.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in communications, marketing, advertising
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
  • Local language (Mandarin) – excellent oral and written skills
  • English – excellent oral and written skills
  • Good Keyboard skills and proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MSWord, MSExcel and MSPowerpoint
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate 
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels 
  • Excellent Communication and presentation ability
  • Leading by example and taking accountability for achieving the set targets and goals
  • Technologically savvy and interested in new trends in the digital world is essential
  • Understanding of Consumer needs
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the social media universe, including Tiktok, Weibo, WeChat
  • Strong familiarity with online marketing practices across categories
