Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.About the Role
Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is seeking a skilled Kitchen Mechanic to join our Engineering team. The Kitchen Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing kitchen and refrigeration equipment, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can maintain the highest standards of functionality and safety in our kitchen facilities.

What You Will Do
Perform repairs and maintenance on various kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including stoves, freezers, ovens, dishwashers, ice machines, and more.
Carry out routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of kitchen equipment.
Manage work orders through the system, and complete maintenance requests promptly.
Install new equipment and make repairs as needed, including fixing leaks, adjusting wiring controls, and replacing defective parts.
Respond to emergency repair calls, including after-hours emergencies.
Collaborate with other maintenance workers and hotel staff to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
What You Bring
Proven experience in kitchen or commercial equipment repair and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of kitchen and refrigeration systems and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and repair manuals.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of kitchen equipment.
Strong independent working skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience with plumbing or electrical systems is a plus.
Academic background in Electrical or Refrigeration Engineering, with a valid permit to work with electricity (preferred).
