The Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel is looking for a CORE Assistant Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. CORE Manager  reports to the Rooms Director . Work authorization for the location is required.

Responsibilities

The CORE Assistant Manager supervises the internal hub of the hotel combining Reservations, In Room Dining and PBX functions as well as assisting directly the CORE Manager. This one stop shop is designed to ensure a seamless guest experience. This person must also be comfortable processing reports in different systems like HotSos, MICROS and Excel. Liaising with hotel partners as well as administrative tasks such as performance reviews for the team, payroll submission as well as commission payment and follow up.

This role will be responsible for ensuring availability and rates are in parity through all booking channels and will contribute towards all areas of the department business. We are looking for an experienced professional with previous and relevant supervisory experience.

This position will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting on selling the hotel and providing information to prospective guests, capture sales from the incoming calls and coordinate details of each reservation
  • Ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. Involved in enhancing the pre-arrival experience as well as contributing to a seamless stay throughout.
  • As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility.
  • Versatile availability to accommodate a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • As the voice of the hotel, ensures that all communication channels operate flawlessly, including the hotel’s phone and communications systems.
  • Responsible for providing general information about the hotel and assisting callers as well as responding to emergencies by connecting the appropriate individuals by phone or radio.
  • Oversees all incoming guests' requests
  • Oversee the entire sequence of service ensuring guest accommodations, calls and food and beverage orders and housekeeping requests are correctly processed and carried out within the stated delivery time according to Four Seasons Standards.
  • Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with high-speed Internet service, telephone and facsimile services, hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • “Clean” all systems of old reservations and updates new reservations in Opera system


Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals who have computer knowledge with good communication skills. Previous experience of 1 year preferred. Applicants are required to have high analytical and organizational skills.  Speaking, writing and reading English is required. General knowledge of labor laws desired. Positive attitude and willing to learn is a must. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.

Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $72,360.00
