The Opportunity:  

The Director of Revenue Management (DORM) is responsible for translating business analytics into tactical strategy - providing focused expertise on pricing, positioning and inventory of hotel product including room, food / beverage banquets, spa, food / beverage outlets, and other ancillary revenue opportunities. This position is Department Head level, reports to the Director of Marketing at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage all processes associated with demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting and opportunity analysis to maximize RevPAR. 
  • Responsible for market / comp set monitoring, analysis, and time sensitive action in a highly competitive and unique destination. 
  • Formulate transient and group inventory and pricing strategies for optimal business mix. 
  • Effectively manage inventory, pricing, rate parity, and property positioning in all distribution channels, including Branded Web, 3rd Party Sites, Central Reservation Office (CRO), and Global Distribution System (GDS). Leverage market segments, booking channels and demand drivers to achieve revenue targets. 
  • Monitor reservation pace to determine and adjust pricing and availability controls
  • Identify trends, future need periods and obstacles.  Work with Sales & Marketing to action products and tools to successfully address and achieve goals. 
  • Oversee space revenue management, maximizing revenue opportunities for rooms, meeting space and catering. 
  • Support Daily Business Review and strategy with group and leisure sales teams. 
  • Present accurate and timely forecast, revenue and specialized reports to leadership and ownership on an ongoing basis, effectively identifying and communicating opportunities. 
  • Assist Sales & Marketing and Finance leadership in yearly budget and sales goal preparation. 
  • Liaise with corporate and ownership Revenue Management teams for best practices. 
  • Develops and maintains key stakeholder relationships. 


 Who We Look For:

  • Four (4) years’ experiences working in hotel revenue management or similar business analytics and strategy role 
  • Highly preferred for candidate to have a minimum four (4) year university degree in accounting, Business Administration, or Hotel Management. 
  • Excellent oral, presentation written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organization and time management skills. 
  • Strong IT (Information Technology) foundation is required: Proficient in Excel, Opera, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Windows. Knowledge of PowerBI, Ideas RMS and Hotelligence is an asset. 
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to demonstrate key insights translated to fact-based decision-making.
