At Fregate Island, wellness is about creating highly personalised experiences in a peaceful and private island setting. As a Spa Supervisor / Senior Spa Therapist & Wellness Coach, you will combine hands-on spa expertise with wellness coaching and day-to-day supervisory responsibilities. You will personally deliver spa treatments, massage, bodywork and spa rituals, while also creating individual wellness experiences based on each guest’s needs and preferences.
A key part of the role will be the ability to independently lead wellness sessions. Depending on your experience, these may include yoga, fitness, meditation, energy or sound practices, as well as other specialist wellness modalities. Alongside your guest-facing responsibilities, you will support the smooth daily operation of the Spa, assist and guide the Spa team, maintain service and presentation standards, and support reception, scheduling and operational requirements when needed.
We are particularly interested in candidates who bring a broad combination of spa and wellness skills. Additional experience in areas such as Watsu, nutrition, breathwork, hydrotherapy or other specialist wellness practices would be a strong advantage.
This is a hands-on senior role for someone who is equally comfortable delivering treatments, leading wellness sessions, supporting the team and engaging directly with guests.

We are looking for an experienced and versatile spa and wellness professional with a strong treatment background, previous senior or supervisory experience and the confidence to independently deliver personalised wellness experiences.
- Professional Spa Therapist qualification or certification.
- Strong professional experience in luxury spa treatments, massage, bodywork and spa rituals.
- Previous experience as a Spa Supervisor, Senior Spa Therapist or in a similar senior role.
- Experience as a Wellness Coach, Yoga Instructor, Fitness Instructor or in a similar wellness role.
- Practical experience in yoga, fitness, meditation, energy and/or sound practices.
- Ability to independently plan and deliver personalised wellness sessions and spa treatments.
- Excellent guest consultation and treatment personalisation skills.
- Excellent English and additional European language skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- High standards of hygiene, presentation and professionalism.
- Flexible and hands-on approach, with the ability to support treatments, wellness activities, guest interaction, Spa reception and daily operations as required.
- Ability and willingness to live and work on a remote private island.
- Additional expertise in Watsu, nutrition, breathwork, hydrotherapy or other specialist wellness modalities would be a strong advantage.
