About the Role
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, organization, coordination, and performance of all Food & Beverage operations at Gstaad Palace.
This key leadership role ensures the highest standards of luxury service, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance across all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, in-room dining, special events, and nightlife operations.
Working closely with the Executive Chef, Purchasing, Cost Controlling, Events, Front Office, and other hotel departments, the F&B Manager plays an important role in maintaining quality, profitability, innovation, and a flawless guest experience in line with the standards of Gstaad Palace and Leading Hotels of the World.

Your area of responsibility includes:
- Lead and coordinate all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, in-room dining, events, and nightlife
- Ensure consistently high service standards and personalised luxury guest experiences
- Be highly present during peak service periods, VIP functions, and key hotel events
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop the entire F&B service team
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and departmental training
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally and discreetly
- Take responsibility for budgets, forecasts, revenue targets, cost control, and profitability
- Optimise beverage concepts, menus, pricing, stock levels, and sales opportunities
- Support the development of new F&B concepts, seasonal offers, events, and guest experiences
- Ensure smooth cooperation between service, kitchen, bar, events, purchasing, cost control, and hotel management
- Maintain and develop SOPs, service standards, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in hospitality management, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven F&B management experience in luxury hospitality, ideally in first-class hotels
- Strong background in restaurants, bars, banqueting, and multi-outlet operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong guest focus with a hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-driven approach
- Solid financial understanding, including budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis
- Confident with MS Office, POS, and inventory systems; Kost and Matrix are an advantage
- Reliable, discreet, resilient, flexible, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent in English and French; German and additional languages are an advantage
- Lingue richieste: Francese e Inglese. Tedesco è un plus
