Scope and General Purpose of Job:

To function as the Business Manager and a Marketing Specialist for the Food & Beverage Department, to ensure the various outlets and banquets operate successfully and are individually profitable in accordance with the standard of the hotel, whilst assisting the Manager of Food & Beverage in the day-to-day running of the Food & Beverage operation. Your main duties will be:

• To co-ordinate an effective and efficient Payroll Management / Resource allocation through establishing a flexible work force throughout the Division, based on the principles of Multi Skilling and Multi-Tasking.
• To ensure that each Food & Beverage outlet and banquet is managed successfully as independent profit center.
• To ensure that each outlet is managed by a Management Team (Outlet Manager / Chef de Cuisine) who are totally accountable for their profitability.
• To monitor all costs and recommend measures to control them.
• To ensure that the Department Operational Budget is strictly adhered to.
• To set and control with Food & Beverage Manager, General Manager, Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources, any incentive scheme for the Outlet Management Team.
• To assist in preparation of monthly forecasts and schedule resources accordingly.
• Ensure new technology and equipment are embraced, improving productivity whilst taking work out of the system.
• And many other duties for effective and efficient management of F&B department

Qualifications

• We are looking for a candidate who has 2-3 years past experience as an Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage in a comparable hotel.
• As one of the key leaders in the hotel, the Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage needs to balance business acumen, with people management and technical skills in all areas of the F&B operation.
• We expect the candidate to bring good leadership skills, paired with the ability to empathetically communicate with all guests and colleagues in the hotel.
• Good organization and communication skills, the ability to inspire and support innovation as well as a passion for caring service should be your strength.
• Your language skills include English and Russian.
