Duties and responsibilities related to the ​Maintenance Team Leader​ role 

• Provide guidance and direction to the engineering team, ensuring that colleagues are motivated, engaged, and equipped to perform their duties effectively. 
• Support the Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager with the day to day running of the department 
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner, minimising disruptions to operations 
• Mentor and train maintenance colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team 
• Manage maintenance inventory, ensuring that necessary parts and supplies are available to support maintenance activities 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members 

About you 

• Previos experience is a similar role is essential, whilst a background in hotel industry is beneficial. A qualification in specialised areas such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing is advantageous. As you will have regular interaction with our guests, excellent communication skills are essential.
