At Kimpton Fitzroy London we are looking for a Weddings and Social Events Manager to join our luxury hotel in Central London

As a Wedding and Social Events Manager at Kimpton Fitzroy London, your primary responsibilities will focus on generating sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful event execution. Your day to day will involve client and supplier relationship management, developing and maintaining these relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.  You will be required to assist in creating and implementing sales strategies, targeting new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. You will need to stay up to date with wedding and event trends, as well as the ever changing landscape, to maintain a competitive edge in the market, sharing knowledge and expertise to help the team achieve their sales targets and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional customer service.

We are looking for someone who is focussed and can work closely with various departments within the hotel fostering a collaborative environment showcasing the hotel's unique offerings and capabilities.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wedding and social event sales, preferably in a luxury hotel or event venue setting.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
