Responsibilities may include:


🔹 Guest Services & Hospitality

  • Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth
  • Assist with check-in/check-out procedures
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions


🔹 Front Desk Operations

  • Operate the property management system (PMS) to manage reservations
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with efficiency
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments


🔹 Rooms Division Support

  • Support the daily operations of Front Office, Concierge, and Bell Services
  • Learn about inventory management, room assignments, and yield strategy
  • Participate in training related to revenue management and guest satisfaction


🔹 Communication & Multitasking

  • Answer phone calls and manage email correspondence
  • Deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards


🔹 Professional Development

  • Learn supervisory tasks, shift leading, and guest service recovery
  • Understand U.S. hospitality workplace culture and standards
  • Gain insight into career progression within international hospitality brands

Skills & Experience


To succeed in this position, candidates should ideally have:


  • Educational background in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field
  • Previous hospitality experience (front office, guest services, concierge, reservations, etc.) is highly preferred
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel reservation systems (PMS knowledge is a plus)
  • A professional appearance and willingness to learn in a multicultural team environment


J1 Program Eligibility Requirements


To qualify for the J1 Internship or Traineeship program, applicants must meet U.S. Department of State criteria:

For Internship applicants (up to 12 months):
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary academic institution (college or university) outside the USA
  • or
  • Graduated within the past 12 months from such an institution


For Traineeship applicants (up to 12–18 months):
  • Hold a degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field
  • Have at least 1 year of related full-time work experience outside the USA
  • or
  • Have 5 or more years of full-time hospitality experience if no formal education
